Laura Hills
London School of Economics

Laura is a Senior Lecturer in Learning and Teaching Advancement at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan). She teaches on the PostGraduate Certificate in Academic Practice (PGCAP), leading to FHEA, and the Associates Programme, leading to AFHEA. She is also the Coordinator for the CCL Fellowship Route which is the institutional professional recognition scheme.  

Laura has an interest in action research and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL). She has supported colleagues to undertake SoTL projects and has conducted research on the efficacy of such support mechanisms and the impact of SoTL at the level of the student, the individual practitioner and the institution. She is also a Doctoral supervisor, supervising colleagues in a range of  projects, particularly in relation to technology enhanced learning and staff development.
