Types of Membership
Individual
Individual members receive: regular mailings from
SEDA, a copy of SEDA’s quarterly magazine, Educational Developments, a copy of
SEDA’s quarterly journal, Innovations in Education and Teaching International,
eligibility to apply for SEDA’s Small Grants, a 20% discount
on Routledge higher education publications and voting rights at General
Meetings.
Individual members who are also SEDA Senior Fellowship or Fellowship
holders receive all of the above plus a copy of the International Journal for
Academic Development.

Institutional (Higher Education)
Institutional HE members receive: regular mailings
from SEDA, one copy of each SEDA Special and SEDA Paper, 15 copies of SEDA’s
quarterly magazine, Educational Developments, two copies of SEDA’s quarterly
journal, Innovations in Education and Teaching International, one copy of the
International Journal for Academic Development, eligibility to apply for SEDA’s
Small Grants, a discount on the price of SEDA-PDF, a 20% discount on Routledge higher education
publications and voting rights at General Meetings.

Associate
Associate membership is available to those who work in
institutions which are institutional members of SEDA. Associate members
receive the following benefits: regular mailings from SEDA, a copy of SEDA’s
quarterly magazine, Educational Developments, eligibility to apply for SEDA’s Small Grants and a 20% discount on Routledge higher
education publications. Associate members’ mailings are
sent via the institutional contact in individually named envelopes so they can
be put straight into the internal mail system. This is a particularly valuable
way of keeping departments, faculties and individuals with staff development
responsibilities informed of SEDA events and activities.

Partner Institution
Institutional
members of SEDA may apply for Partner Institution membership for any number of
affiliated or associated colleges. Partner Institutions receive the following benefits: regular mailings from SEDA, two copies of SEDA’s
quarterly magazine, Educational Developments, a copy of each SEDA Special, eligibility to apply for SEDA’s
Research and Development Grants, a discount on the price of SEDA-PDF and a 20% discount on Routledge higher
education publications. Partner Institutions receive their
mailings direct.
